[Taiwan] Taoyuan Airport: tips for layover

Jiufen (九份), Taiwan – the world of spirits

Weather: sunny in Taipei but rainy in Jiufen, temperature around 15-20 degrees during daytime
It seems like the rain comes especially often and hard during winter, and the wind is also relatively strong on the top of the mountain, so what do you need to prepare? An umbrella will also do, I guess, but raincoat is highly recommended, especially if you want your hands free to take photos while enjoying the street food. And depends on the weather, the temperature can decrease remarkably on the top, so don’t forget a cardigan or some thin coat.
